Hi, I am currently a teacher at St. Anthony's High School in Huntington. I completed my Bachelors’ degrees in Biochemistry and Mathematics from Liberty University in Virginia, Master of Science degree from Columbia University in New York City, and am currently pursuing graduate studies in the medical field. For three years, I served as a public and private school grade teacher (grades 4-12), for which I thoroughly enjoyed working with students as an educator. With my biomedical science background, I am frequently sought to help students with upper level science/math courses from high school through college, including preparation for the Regents exams. As a tutor, I have many years of experience assisting students realize their success on the SAT/ACT exam for college admission. Given my teaching experience with middle/elementary school students, I have gained the trust of working with students individually and in group settings, including test prep for the TACHS exam to help students gain admission to Catholic high school. Working with a fun-loving attitude, I strive to break down complex or unfamiliar concepts into an understandable way with students while incorporating active learning through practice questions.
