A college visit is one of the most important and often overlooked steps in the college admissions process. Touring a campus gives students the opportunity to experience college life firsthand, explore academic programs, meet admissions representatives, and determine whether a school is truly the right fit. At many colleges, demonstrating interest through a campus visit can even strengthen an application.


Participants Will Learn:

  • How, when, and why to visit colleges.
  • What to expect during a campus tour.
  • Questions to ask admissions representatives, students, and faculty.
  • How demonstrated interest can impact admissions.
  • What to look for beyond the tour.
  • How to create and use a College Visit Journal to compare schools.

Don't just tour a college with your child, learn how to evaluate it and help them choose the one that's right for them. Join Homework Hub's College Advisor for this informative one-hour virtual workshop and learn how to make the most of every college visit.


Each session runs for 1 hour through Zoom and is available for both students and parents to attend. Class has a 12:1 student to teacher ratio.
