I have been a certified English teacher for the last 36 years and just recently retired. I have taught every grade level from kindergarten to college level. I taught SAT/ACT/ GRE classes, history classes, photography classes, computer classes, and North American culture classes. I have also taught courses in screenwriting, poetry, short story writing, genre writing, college composition and advance composition classes either for adult education or on the college level. I enjoy worlking with students of all levels.

In addition, I also ran the school newspaper at Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School for eight years and a number of extracurricular clubs: The Reading Club, The Film Club, and The Poetry Club, where my students have won numerous poetry contests locally as well as internationally.

On my free time I have worked as a playwright, filmmaker/screenwriter, radio writer, and poet. I am currently working on two books, one as a poetry collection, and the other as a children’s book.
