My name is Steve Cempa and I am a veteran Social Studies teacher currently working for the Syosset School District. I currently hold over seven years of full time teaching experience across a variety of Social Studies placements. My most notable experience is teaching for the New Global II New York State Regents Examination, as well as having taught nearly four years of AP World History across 9th and 10th grade settings.

Prior to teaching in my new district, I worked as a New York City High School educator for six years, servicing students of various socioeconomic status and extremely diverse backgrounds in Manhattan and Queens. 

My love of learning and experiencing new places carries over into my teaching as I do my best to relate my travels and experiences in the classroom. I love working with all students and making a difference in their lives.
