I am a member of the Independent Educational Consultant Association. I am committed to helping students find the college that fits them best and will bring over twenty years of college counseling experience to The Homework Hub. Finding the best fit is my focus when working with students. To do this takes time and experience. My experience as a school counselor is diverse, having worked with students from many different backgrounds and many varied interests. I understand what students need to do to improve their chances of acceptance at top colleges and universities. 

The college application process is daunting and overwhelming. I have guided students through every step of the way, beginning early in high school when students are forging their high school path, and ending in senior year when students must make the often-difficult decision of which school to attend. Finding the right fit is a process.  It takes a clear understanding of the student’s needs and wants, their potential, and an understanding of the current college admissions milieu. I strive to learn all I can about the students I work with and stay current on admissions trends. I guide students through the steps of the college search, SAT/ACT Prep, the college essay, scholarship searches, FAFSA/CSS Profile, the details of the applications, extracurricular activities, NCAA, connecting with teachers, and the additional actions needed to get that admission offer.
