Whether you're here to play, learn, or simply connect, our Parent Workshops are built to meet you where you are-- and grow with you.
Homework Hub believes education is a shared journey for both parents/guardians and children. Therefore, we offer workshops that educate and support parents/guardians throughout their children's school years. We also realize that parents/guardians need a break and time for themselves to recharge. Additionally, we offer enjoyable, enriching learning experiences for our parents/guardians. Executive Functioning (EF): Building Essential Life Skills
In this workshop, we'll explore techniques to foster skills such as time management, organization, planning, and self-advocacy in children. You will learn strategies to create supportive environments that encourage the development of these critical life skills and promote lifelong learning. At the end of this workshop, you will walk away with tips and resources to use to help build upon your child’s executive functioning skills. Our workshops are designed to equip parents with the knowledge and tools they need to nurture their child's growth across multiple dimensions.
Mahjong: Connecting Generations Through Play
Discover the ancient game of Mahjongg and its ability to bridge generations. Our workshop will bring moms and friends together and introduce you to the rules and strategies of this captivating game. Learn how playing Mahjongg can not only provide quality time with friends but also enhance cognitive skills and critical thinking.
