The journey toward college begins in high school. Help your child get his or her head in the game with a Jumpstarter Resume. Creating a resume allows students to visualize their accomplishments and provide a framework for growth. Learn how your child can build his/her resume throughout high school.

College Major Assessment: $170

Have your child take an assessment designed to match students with their potential college majors and career paths based on their natural aptitudes and interests.

(May take 60-90 minutes to complete).

College Criteria Workshop:  $170/hour

Finding the right college starts with understanding what's right for your child. Students will learn how to identify the factors that matter most when choosing a college. They will create a personalized college criteria checklist and learn how to build a balanced college list that aligns with their academic, personal, and career goals. Students will leave with  a clear strategy and the confidence to begin their college search. 

Maximizing Campus Visits: $170/hour

A college visit is more than just a campus tour. It's an opportunity for students to discover if a college is the right fit for them. Students will learn how to prepare for campus visits, ask meaningful questions, evaluate colleges beyond the tour, and make informed decisions throughout their college search. They will also learn how to show demonstrated interest  and how to use a college visit journal to compare schools with confidence. Turn every campus visit into a valuable step toward finding the college that's right for your child. 

College Interview Prep: $170/hour

College interviews can play a key role in the admissions process, offering students a chance to showcase their personality, goals, and enthusiasm beyond the application. In this session, students will learn how to speak with confidence, make eye contact, and answer both common and unexpected questions with clarity and poise. We'll cover how to research each school, prepare talking points, and ask insightful questions that demonstrate genuine interest. Students will also receive tips on body language, virtual interview etiquette (if applicable), and how to follow up with a polished thank-you note that leaves a lasting impression.

Brag Sheets: $170/hour

Brag sheets are a valuable tool that help guidance counselors write strong, personalized recommendation letters. In this session, students will be guided through the process of reflecting on their academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, leadership roles, community service, personal qualities, and future goals. We'll help students articulate their experiences clearly and confidently, ensuring their counselor has all the information needed to craft a compelling and individualized letter that supports their college applications.

Student Resume: $170

A well-crafted student resume is essential for college applications, internships, scholarships, and summer programs. We help students build polished, professional resumes that highlight their strengths, accomplishments, extracurricular activities, leadership experience, volunteer work, and academic honors. Whether they’re starting from scratch or refining an existing resume, this session ensures students walk away with a standout document tailored to their goals.
