Hi, I’m Matthew De Andrade. I earned my bachelor’s degree in mathematics and received a Math for America Fellowship, through which I completed my master’s degree in secondary math education. I spent nine years teaching in New York City public high schools, and I’ve actually been tutoring since I was in high school myself—it’s something I’ve always loved.

I still enjoy learning new things in math and discovering different ways to approach problems. Sharing that passion with students is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I’m proud of the impact I’ve made and continue to make through teaching and tutoring.

I’m looking forward to helping more students grow in their confidence and abilities in math.
