Hi! I’m Melanie Charlack. I hold an initial New York State certification in General Education (Birth–Grade 6) and Students with Disabilities (All Grades). I earned my Bachelor of Science in Inclusive Childhood Education from SUNY Cortland, where I became dually certified in General and Special Education. Most recently, I completed my Master’s in Literacy (Birth–Grade 6) at SUNY Oneonta, which deepened my ability to support students' academic growth.

For the past two years, I’ve worked as a Permanent Substitute Teacher at Walt Whitman Elementary School in the Syosset Central School District. In this role, I’ve adapted to a wide range of classroom settings and worked to keep students engaged and thriving.

I’m passionate about creating inclusive, supportive learning environments where every student can feel confident and excited to learn. I love building meaningful connections with students and helping them develop a strong academic foundation. I’m so excited to be part of Homework Hub and look forward to supporting students on their educational journey.
