6. Enrollment Commitment and Payment Terms

Please read carefully.

To maintain small class sizes and secure qualified instructional staff, Homework Hub makes staffing and program commitments based on each student’s enrollment. Students enrolling at the beginning of the academic year are required to commit to the full 10-month enrollment term. Enrollment is not offered on a month-to-month basis.

Students enrolling after the academic year has begun commit to the remainder of the academic year. Their total membership fee will be prorated based on their actual enrollment date.

At enrollment, each family must select an approved payment schedule. The selected payment schedule determines the number of payments, the amount of each payment, and the total membership fee. Regardless of the payment schedule selected, paying in installments does not create a month-to-month enrollment arrangement or permit early cancellation of the enrollment commitment.

The first payment is due when the registration agreement is submitted. The first payment counts toward the total number of payments under the selected schedule.

Agreed Payment Schedule

Complete only the installment lines that apply.

7. Withdrawal, Attendance, Payment, and Termination Policies

Please read carefully.

Withdrawal and Early Discontinuation

If a student withdraws or the family discontinues enrollment before the end of the applicable 10-month enrollment term or prorated late-enrollment term, no refunds or credits will be issued for any unused portion of the term. By enrolling, the family accepts responsibility for the full membership fee associated with the selected term. Membership fees are committed to staffing and instructional services based on the student’s enrollment and are therefore non-refundable, regardless of the reason for withdrawal or early discontinuation. Families remain responsible for paying all outstanding amounts owed for the selected term in accordance with the agreed-upon payment schedule.

Missed Days and Make-Up Instruction

No refunds, credits, membership-fee reductions, extensions, or make-up instruction will be provided for days missed due to a student’s absence, illness, vacation, scheduling conflict, or decision not to attend.

Weather and Emergency Closures

The Learning Pod generally follows weather-related closing and delay decisions made by the Half Hollow Hills Central School District. Homework Hub may also close, delay opening, or dismiss students early when weather, road conditions, a power outage, or another emergency makes in-person operation unsafe. Families will be notified as soon as reasonably possible. These closures do not result in a refund, credit, fee reduction, or extension of the membership term. Homework Hub will offer remote instruction or a make-up opportunity when feasible, but  is not guaranteed.

Late Payments

A $10 late fee will be charged on the first day a payment is overdue, plus an additional $1 for each subsequent day the payment remains unpaid.

Termination by Homework Hub

Homework Hub reserves the right to suspend or terminate a student’s enrollment for nonpayment, repeated violations of program policies, unsafe or significantly disruptive conduct, or other circumstances that materially interfere with the program. If enrollment is terminated because of nonpayment or a violation by the student or family, no refund or credit will be issued, and the family will remain responsible for the unpaid balance of the applicable 10-month enrollment term or prorated late-enrollment term. If Homework Hub terminates enrollment for a reason unrelated to a violation by the student or family, any prepaid membership fees for services that will not be provided will be prorated and refunded.
