8th/9th-Grade Jumpstarter Consultation: $170/hour

The journey toward college begins in high school. Help your child get his or her head in the game with a Jumpstarter resume. Creating a resume allows students to visualize their accomplishments and provide a framework for growth. Learn how your child can build his/her resume throughout high school.

College Major Assessment: $170

Have your child take an assessment designed to match students with their potential college majors and career paths based on their natural aptitudes and interests.

(May take 60-90 minutes to complete).

College Essay and Application Assistance (Private): $170/hour

Maximizing Campus Visits: $170/hour

Don’t just show up—make them count. Students will learn how to get the most from campus tours and information sessions. Follow up with admissions in a way that gets you noticed.

College Interview Prep: $170/hour

College interviews can play a key role in the admissions process, offering students a chance to showcase their personality, goals, and enthusiasm beyond the application. In this session, students will learn how to speak with confidence, make eye contact, and answer both common and unexpected questions with clarity and poise. We'll cover how to research each school, prepare talking points, and ask insightful questions that demonstrate genuine interest. Students will also receive tips on body language, virtual interview etiquette (if applicable), and how to follow up with a polished thank-you note that leaves a lasting impression.

Brag Sheets: $170/hour

Brag sheets are a valuable tool that help guidance counselors write strong, personalized recommendation letters. In this session, students will be guided through the process of reflecting on their academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, leadership roles, community service, personal qualities, and future goals. We'll help students articulate their experiences clearly and confidently, ensuring their counselor has all the information needed to craft a compelling and individualized letter that supports their college applications.

Student Resume: $170

A well-crafted student resume is essential for college applications, internships, scholarships, and summer programs. We help students build polished, professional resumes that highlight their strengths, accomplishments, extracurricular activities, leadership experience, volunteer work, and academic honors. Whether they’re starting from scratch or refining an existing resume, this session ensures students walk away with a standout document tailored to their goals.

Supplemental Essays 

Up to 250-word essays: $300 per essay

Up to 500-word essays: $350 per essay

Up to 1500 words (excluding the Common App): $500 per essay

Common App or Coalition App: $1,000

Students respond to a prompt to showcase who they are beyond grades and test scores. This essay helps colleges understand their voice, values, and experiences. Homework Hub will assist students in producing unique, compelling, and distinctive essays that truly stand out.

Common App or Coalition App + 6 Supplementals: $2,000

College essays are one of the single most important ways that they can distinguish themselves from other applicants. Students respond to a prompt to showcase who they are beyond grades and test scores. This essay helps colleges understand their voice, values, and experiences. 

Supplemental essays are school-specific questions that go beyond the main essay. Colleges use them to learn why you're a good fit for their campus, programs, or values. They’re your chance to show genuine interest and tailor your application to each school.  

Homework Hub will assist students in producing unique, compelling, and distinctive essays that truly stand out.

• Overview of college application process
• Review/work on meeting sophomore and junior year milestones (guidance and teacher recommendations, parent and student brag sheets, test prep plan, junior year course selection, etc.).
• Completed resume
• Develop a realistic and relevant college list (likely, target, reach)
• Explain and complete Common App OR Coalition App including activities section
• Guidance for researching colleges and taking campus visits/online visits
• Two interview prep / mock interview sessions (admissions or alumni)
• Sessions will occur twice monthly and are to be used to complete the items outlined above. To the extent that more time is needed to complete the items outlined above, there will be no additional charge.
• Up to 23 hour-long sessions are included in this package.

College Advisory Package For Rising Juniors/Juniors - ”Minus the Essays”: $2,250

• Overview of college application process
• Review/work on meeting junior year milestones (guidance and teacher recommendations, parent and student brag sheets, test prep plan, senior year course selection, career guidance, etc.).
• Completed resume
• Develop a realistic and relevant college list (likely, target, reach)
• Explain and complete Common App OR Coalition App including activities section
• Guidance for communicating with admissions and demonstrating interest
• Guidance for researching colleges and taking campus visits/online visits
• Two interview prep / mock interview sessions (admissions or alumni)
• Up to 15 hour-long sessions are included in this package. The sessions are to be used to complete the items outlined above. To the extent that more time is needed to complete the items outlined 

College Advisory Package For Rising Seniors/Seniors - "Minus the Essays": $895

• Overview of college application process
• Completed Common App or Coalition App
• Activity Sheet and/or Resume (if student's activities exceed the allotted space)
• Review of college list and guidance on whether to submit test scores
• Interview Prep and Mock Interview
• Guidance for communicating with admissions and demonstrating interest
• Guidance for making the most of campus visits
• Early action, early decision 1, and early decision 2 strategies
• Guidance regarding high school guidance procedures + academic advising 
• Up to six hour-long sessions are included in this package; no charge for the counselor's non-session work time

College Advisory Package For Rising Sophomores/Sophomores:  $5,450
