I am a former Professor of Design at Pratt Institute, a Career and Technical Education (Architecture) high school teacher, and a visiting design critic at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), New York School of Interior Design, the University of Idaho, and Philadelphia University. I earned both my Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) and Master of Industrial Design (M.I.D.) from Pratt Institute, and my career has spanned architecture, industrial design, product design, graphic design, and higher education.

My professional experience includes work with internationally recognized firms Pentagram and Lippincott, as well as years of practice in commercial architectural interiors, product design, and graphic design. My work has been published for innovations in design, and I was honored with a Presidential Design Achievement Award from the National Endowment for the Arts. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about the power of design, education, and storytelling to inspire creativity and create meaningful change.

As an Architect, Designer, Educator, and College Portfolio Advisor, I have spent many years helping students navigate the admissions process for art and design programs. My students have earned admission—and in many cases generous scholarships—to prestigious institutions including the School of Visual Arts (SVA), University of Southern California (USC), Yale University (Graduate Photography), Syracuse University, Pratt Institute, the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Architecture, New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) School of Architecture, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).

If you're applying to art, architecture, film, fashion, interior design, graphic design, photography, or another creative program, I'd love to help guide you through the process. Whether you're deciding which colleges are the best fit, learning what admissions committees are looking for, or creating a portfolio from the ground up, I'll provide expert guidance every step of the way. Together, we'll build a portfolio that showcases your creativity, highlights your strengths, and tells your unique story—helping you stand out and maximize your opportunities for admission to top art and design schools.
