INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO BE ON-CALL FOR HOTLINE

Step 1: Submit the HwH Hotline Guidelines before logging into the hotline for the first time.
Step 2: Please contact the Homework Hub office ahead of time through TalkingPoints, to alert them that you will be online for Hotline during a specific time span so they can advertise you to the families.
Step 3: Login to the database by clicking the "red" button below.
Step 4: You will then be taken to a new page where you will click on "Hotline Tutor Login".
Step 5: Enter the email address and password that you use for the Homework Hub database to login.
Step 6: Click on "Hotline Tutor Login" on the top left.
Step 7: Click on "Edit Your Details/Hotline Subjects" located on the left next to tutor directory and under the "blue" submit button.
Step 8: Add subjects that you are proficient in tutoring under Hotline Subjects. (Don't see what you're looking for? Text us and we will add it.)
Step 9: Once you select your subject(s) click on "Submit".
Step 10: Under Add Hotline Session at the top left, select your dates and times by clicking under Date and Start Time. (You can also manually enter the Start Time, in addition to selecting the available times.)
Step 11: If you choose to make yourself available, (for example - at intervals of 10 minutes), be sure if a student signs up that you delete any overlapping hours to prevent being double booked. (Please note that it takes time for students to login and pay for the class. If the student does not complete it prior to class start time, the class will disappear from the screen. That is why it's important to make yourself available in close intervals.)
Step 12: Once you select your dates and times click on "Submit".
Step 13: Each session is 20 minutes long. (Please remember to leave enough time between your sessions to prepare for your students and for any unexpected technical difficulties.)
Step 14: If you made yourself available for Hotline but are not any longer, please delete your availability at any time as long as there are no students signed up for your session.
