Hi Everyone! My name is Andrew Katzman and I am an experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching experience and a strong background in supporting diverse learners. I hold a B.S. in Special Education and Social Sciences from Dowling College, M.S.Ed. in Adolescent Literacy from Fordham University, and an Ed.M. in Educational Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University.

My approach focuses on building real relationships with students by understanding their needs, learning styles, and goals. I create a structured but relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking breaks when needed, and staying engaged without learning feeling robotic.

I am punctual, organized, and maintain open communication with parents to ensure students feel supported both academically and personally.
