Hello, my name is Lilyana Brown. I am an Algebra I teacher at Marie Curie Middle School. I am proud to say that 90% of my eighth-grade students have consistently passed the Algebra I Regents Exam. My goal is to give students the strong foundation they need to achieve success and confidently move on to the next level.

In addition, I actively participate as a member of the Mega-MTSS team, which allows me to expand my expertise in developing and facilitating open-ended curriculum tasks. I am committed to implementing math routines that promote student-centered learning and meaningful mathematical discussions, while deepening students’ conceptual understanding.
