My name is Rebecca Smith, and I am a Certified Math Teacher with a Bachelor's in Mathematics and a Master's in Mathematics Education. I taught math to grades 3-8. concurrently for 13 years, including the Algebra 1 Regents class for 10 years. I have also been tutoring math for 20+ years.

I believe learning math should be fun! I love incorporating my students' interests into math problems in order to make learning more engaging. I enjoy taking difficult concepts and making them easier for students to understand. I would describe myself as caring, enthusiastic, encouraging, hardworking, and dedicated.
